California Vacay!

We had an absolute BLAST in California this summer! We got to be there for an entire week, it was lovely! The weather was beautiful and we had fun with friends and family!

 

Did I mention we were camping for a week on the beach?! It was so fun and nice to have a toy hauler!

Kade & Kylee made a couple extra spending $$ by dancing in front of the entire crowd! It was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

Loved meeting up with our friends (who happened to be in Cali at the same time) for a delicious breakfast!

We had so much fun biking, jogging, laying out in the sand, and playing in the ocean! We went on an all day bike ride one of the day's to Coronado and it was probably my favorite part of our vacay! That and the CRAZY floods we hit on the way home (yes - we went around the highway signs saying that the road was closed - that's what diesel's are made for!) Sometime maybe I'll add my photos from Instagram - they are much more detailed... But first I need to catch up on the rest of our summer vacations and happenings!

Happy Independence Day!!

We had a great 4th of July this year! We started it off right with a yummy breakfast with friends and family! It was a little humid but through the day the storm helped cool things down. By firework showtime - it was PERFECT!! I didn't end up getting any pictures of the rest of our day - whoops - but we had so much fun hanging out with friends and family and watching the fireworks at Mesa Country Club!

Vacation No. UNO!!

Mike's childhood friend, Jake got married last week! Him and his cute wife were sealed in the Draper, UT temple and L. Tom Perry sealed them. We were so happy we got to go up and be apart of their special day. Elder Perry gave the best council to the married couple! Mike and I loved it and it was even great for us to hear so we can continue to work on having a better marriage than we already do!

This was how she was entertained while I packed. Yes, she is sitting on the office desk like 2 inches from the computer monitor!

 After the sealing and luncheon, we headed to City Creek to do some shoppin! It was so fun and then we got the news that Dan & Brooke Springer had their baby so we got to go meet baby Jack in the hospital! Talk about perfect timing! Brook is beautiful and so fun to talk too! I wish we lived closer! Baby Jack was absolutely adorable and we loved seeing them!

The next day, we headed down to Cedar City to have lunch with Mike's former Mission President and his wonderful wife, and son! We had so much fun catching up with them and they loved meeting Hadley!

After lunch, we headed to Vegas to see Andrew Lowell and his adorable girlfriend! We had fun catching up with them! I have to say though, not thouroughly impressed with Vegas... Not our thing - but we wouldn't have missed meeting up with Andrew!
